West Coast Title Search Ltd. is pleased to open accounts for firms who working within the legal community. Our clients include:

  • Lawyers, Law Firms, Notaries Public and Accountants
  • Paralegals approved by the Law Society of British Columbia under the Innovation Sandbox program
  • Financial Institutions
  • Government or privatized government service
  • Environmental Companies (Incorporated)
  • Engineers / Architects
  • Insurance Companies and Adjusters
  • Real Estate Companies, and
  • Strata Management Companies

If you fit the above criteria and are interested in becoming a client of West Coast, a credit account must be set up to provide service. Please read our account application along with our Terms and Conditions and Limitations of Liability.

Application is Easy

Prospective clients have two options:

  • Complete our Online Application, which can be accessed by clicking the link in the left sidebar. This is the easiest and quickest way to get the ball rolling.

It’s All About Service

We provide you with pre-printed invoices, customized data to input to your accounting systems, and electronic copies of your statements if required.

Billing Information

Invoices
Every day your work is completed, invoices will be returned to your office by email, mail or run service. The appropriate documentation will be attached. We use both four-part invoices and computer-generated invoices. You will receive at least two copies of each invoice. One copy will be returned with the completed work, while the second copy will be returned with your statement at no additional cost.

Statements
We have several statement periods: daily, weekly, semi-monthly and monthly. Usually, your statement period is based on your volume. However, if you require a specific statement period, we will be pleased to oblige. Our accounting system runs on a monthly cycle. Because of the different number of days in a month, the actual number of days included on your weekly and semi-monthly statements will vary.

Computerized Invoice Billing
We can provide your statement information by email. This can eliminate the need for your staff to enter the invoice into your computer system. It is possible that some modifications or front-end programming may be required to accept this information. We are happy to work with your accounting staff or IT department to meet your needs.

Individuals and Businesses Outside of the Legal Community

Other firms (mortgage companies, real estate agents, etc.), or private individuals who wish to work with us, are required to pay by Visa or Mastercard. We do not accept cash or cheques either in advance or upon receipt of the work. Please visit the One-time Payment page on our website, select the service(s) you require, and submit your credit card information. We'll get started on your request as soon as possible. Someone from our staff will be in touch with you should we require further information.
