West Coast Title Search has a continuing policy of looking for practices and procedures that will provide efficient, accurate and cost-effective service to our clients. In accordance with this policy, West Coast is pleased to announce that, effective immediately, all eligible documents for Chilliwack and Abbotsford Court Registries will be automatically e-filed through Court Services Online (CSO) .

This new policy will provide significant savings as the regular New Westminster filing fee of $10.50 will be charged rather than the $25.00 fee for attending in person at the Chilliwack and Abbotsford Registries. Also, West Coast's cheque writing fee of $3.50 will not apply to electronic disbursements. Turn-around times for receiving copies of filed documents will improve in most cases. Note: In addition to the applicable Court disbursements, there will be a $7.00 disbursement to CSO.

West Coast will continue to attend at the Chilliwack and Abbotsford Registries to manually file the following documents which cannot be electronically filed:

• Adoption;
• Affidavit filed for purposes of Rule 40 (44);
• Affidavits over 40-50 pages which are too large for the system;
• Certificate of judgment;
• Certificate of pending litigation;
• Certified copy of any document;
• Chambers record;
• Criminal (provincial and supreme);
• Proof of marriage from a foreign jurisdiction (unless the proof is electronically issued);
• Provincial family;
• Probate;
• Reciprocal enforcement of orders under the Court Order Enforcement Act, and
• Trial record.
